The Sunshine Coast Hinterland sits along the Blackall Range, inland from the coastal stretch of towns. The hinterland complements the coastal centres by offering an alternative to the coastal lifestyle and attractions with its villages such as Montville and Maleny, nestled amongst green rolling hills and valleys.
